Terms
These website terms set out how an engagement with Gearshift Digital comes about and what you may expect from us.
Draft for legal review. This text will be checked before it is used commercially.

1. Proposals and scope
Every project starts with a written proposal. It defines the deliverables, the timing, the feedback rounds, the price and any recurring services.
2. Client input
The client supplies correct company information, permissions, access and usable source material on time. Delays in these inputs may change the planning.
3. Payment
Unless a signed proposal says otherwise, website projects run on a 25 percent deposit and 75 percent on delivery. All stated prices exclude VAT.
4. Feedback and extra work
The website packages include four feedback rounds. Work outside the agreed scope requires written approval and may lead to an additional proposal.
5. Ownership
Project-specific work transfers after full payment, where the signed proposal says so. Third-party software, fonts, stock material and licences remain subject to their own terms.
6. Results
Gearshift commits to careful work and transparent reporting. Search positions, advertising returns, enquiry numbers and revenue are not guaranteed.
7. Hosting and maintenance
Hosting, maintenance, response times and renewal costs follow the signed proposal. For technical incidents we aim to respond within one business day, unless another service level is agreed.
8. Still to be reviewed
The final legal entity details, the liability provisions, the cancellation terms, the governing law and the complaints route must be reviewed before these terms are used in a contract.
